Feeding Your Lawn
The best lawns are those that are fed with a lawn fertiliser. This helps to keep the lawn a deep green colour and creates a thick grass covering, which helps prevent weeds from establishing. Feeding is very simple and many fertilisers are supplied in containers with a built-in applicator.
For spring/summer feeding a high Nitrogen fertiliser should be used to promote healthy growth and in autumn a high Potassium fertiliser can be applied to strengthen the lawn for winter.
Some lawn fertilisers also contain a broad-leaf weed killer and moss killer, meaning you can do three jobs in one.
